The European Autotech team is made up of highly qualified technicians, with a combined 80 years experience in workshops, dealerships and on the racing scene. Unlike many other workshops, apprentices will not service your vehicle at European Autotech.

European Autotech uses factory equipment, technical information and knowledge defined by original manufacturers for the best possible service and diagnostics. Given European Autotech runs factory service equipment and practices, you will keep your factory warranty.

Our large floor space in the Mona Vale on the Northern Beaches allows us to keep more in-house equipment and parts at the premises. As a result, we can offer you quick and prompt service at competitive prices. We have the ability of handling multiple cars simultaneously at our state-of-the-art premises.

European Autotech is an APR Master Dealer for NSW and an authorised dealer for Milltek, Oettinger, DMS and Dinan. We are members of the Australian Automotive Aftermarket Association and also the Performance, Racing and Tuning Council.

Derek Smith, owner

Derek established European Autotech just over 20 years ago. Having spent some time working in the eastern suburbs when he first arrived from Ireland, he realised there was a shortage of workshops specialising in European cars on the Northern Beaches. So, he established European Autotech and set about staffing it with leading specialist technicians.

A winner of many awards for the quality of his work, Derek has proven his dedication and skills in the motor industry. Derek has also demonstrated his attention to detail and engineering capabilities in the highly competitive motor racing environment where he enjoyed success as chief engineer on Formula 3 cars.
