ECU and Software Upgrades
Engine control unit and engine software upgrades are the most popular performance upgrades and they can improve power and performance by 30 per cent.
APR’s ECU Upgrades are the best dollar-per-horsepower modification one can make to the 2.0T engine. The upgrades dramatically increase horsepower and torque, making for an exceptionally quicker and more exciting vehicle.
Software Upgrades, also known as ECU or TCU Tuning, provide the best horsepower-per-dollar gain of any performance modification available. ISW is the only shop in New Jersey to offer both Unitronic and APR software upgrades, which are available for Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, and Lamborghini. The great advantage of ECU Tuning is that it doesn’t necessarily require hardware upgrades. “Stage I” files increase horsepower and torque drastically and require no additional hardware upgrades. Most ECU and TCU software is uploaded directly through the OBD II port and the process may be completed within an hour.
Brake upgrades
Brake kit upgrades provide outstanding stopping-power at an affordable price and are designed for normal street driving, track days, and high performance events. Upgrade kits vary depending on your vehicle and the look you are wanting to achieve.
Even if you don’t want to go for the full kit, for a cleaner, safer driving experience, consider replacing your car’s existing brakes with dustless brake pads. They keep your wheels virtually dust-free and provide improved stopping power. They also provide a cleaner and quieter braking experience and are more cost effective as they last longer than traditional brake pads.
Supercharger and Turbocharger upgrades
We can supply and install turbos, turbocharging accessories, turbo manifolds, stronger pistons, turbo upgrade kits, conversion systems, supercharger systems, high-flow exhaust manifolds, and other forced induction enhancements. The end performance depends on the type of charger installed, the quality selected, proper installation and the general operating condition of the car itself.
